8 Healthy Diet Tips to Prevent Heart Disease

Prevent Heart Disease

Having a healthy body including a proper weight loss plan is becoming a top priority for everyone these days.

The average state of  people’s health seems to be in the media everyday and is a huge concern for everyone.  I was just watching on the news the other night how much sodium and sugar is in the “so-called” healthy alternatives in the restaurant food we eat.

I was reading some information on this subject on the website of the Mayo clinic and here’s 8 heart-healthy diet tips they posted that can help prevent heart disease:

8 Steps To Prevent Heart Disease

  1. Limit unhealthy fats and cholesterol
  2. Choose low-fat protein sources
  3. Eat more vegetables and fruits
  4. Select whole grains
  5. Reduce the sodium in your food
  6. Control your portion size
  7. Plan ahead: Create daily menus
  8. Allow yourself an occasional treat

The Medical staff on their website went on to say:

As you consider the parade of healthy diets in magazines,  and cookbooks, make sure to look for one that:

  • Includes a variety of foods from the major food groups: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, lean protein, nuts and seeds, and healthy fats
  • Provides guidelines for how much food to choose from each group
  • Includes foods you can find in your local grocery store
  • Fits your tastes, lifestyle and budget

“Also consider your health risks. Do you have high cholesterol or high blood pressure? If so, be sure to follow a diet that’s low in salt, saturated fat and cholesterol, and high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats. For personalized advice, talk with your doctor or a dietitian.

That’s why we offer so many different types of healthy eating fat and weight loss programs that we monitor with you.  I think everyone wants to adopt a healthy diet but some of us aren’t sure where to start?  More importantly, making sure that any program has the proper amount of protein, carbohydrates, and the right balance of the different types of vitamins and nutrients our bodies need.

Taste – Learn – Enjoy!

Our Ideal protein workshop last week was a big hit with everyone.  In fact there were so many people that wanted to attend but couldn’t make it, we added another Seminar for August 9th at 6:00 p.m. and it’s already 1/3 booked.   But for this seminar we’re going to cover the Ideal Protein, HcG and SLIM Supplement Programs.  We’ll have a sampling menu that you can actually taste the different types of foods and we’ll go over the benefits of each system.

I would like to see everyone have the figure and body they’d like to by living and eating healthy…so  I’ll  be announcing a new program that will enable you to get on any of our programs at absolutely no cost!  To give you a quick summary, simply by referring 3 of your friends who enroll for the program, for every month they are on it, yours if free.  I’ll have more info in the next couple of weeks.

To register, and of course you can register your friends, just respond to this email or give us a call.
